The City of Knox Wythogan Park Splash Pad will be officially turned on this weekend.
City of Knox Mayor Dennis Estok announced during a recent city council meeting, the Splash Pad will be opened and turned on starting Saturday, May 25. During Wednesday’s Knox Board of Public Works meeting, Knox Water Department Superintendent Tim Lindewald announced his department has been working on the Wythogan Park Splash Pad in preparation for the upcoming season. He announced it is ready to go and will be turned for citizens to use this weekend.
Lindewald also announced the water is up and running at Wythogan Park and restrooms have been open as well.
