The Pulaski County Commissioners discussed the first scheduled walk-through of the courthouse project during their meeting Monday.
Pulaski County Community Development Commission Executive Director Nathan Origer announced a walk-through with architects on the progress made thus far is scheduled for Monday, June 24 at 11 a.m. ET. Origer stated the walk-through is not mandatory for the commissioners but wanted to extend the invite to Commissioner Maurice Loehmer as he is the Steering Committee member.
In a previous meeting, Origer stated more hardwood flooring throughout the courthouse had been found during the demolition of areas under construction. He stated, this may lead to small changes in plans, depending on the condition of the wood. On Monday, Origer stated this is something that is planned to be discussed in the walk-through with architects next week. He added, the architects will discuss what they are planning to do in the upcoming weeks as well as discuss other work going on at the courthouse currently.
