The Starke County Commissioners discussed a NIPSCO easement request during their meeting Monday.
It was announced NIPSCO would like to replace three electric poles in the Knox Industrial Park area. It was stated the exact location of the replaced electric poles would be at 300 East and 50 South. Starke County Commissioner Charles Chesak stated the county would receive $2000 for the use of easement. It was noted Starke County Attorney Justin Schramm had looked over the easement request from NIPSCO and that everything was in order.
A motion was made to approve the easement request. That motion was seconded and passed unanimously by vote.
