The Knox City Council discussed the Family Fun Day held over the Fourth of July weekend during their meeting last week.
City of Knox Mayor Dennis Estok stated they had an amazing turnout during their annual Family Fun Day. He said the class of 1974 was the first class to take advantage of having their 50 year class reunion at the Knox Alumni Reunion to kick off the weekend’s festivities. Estok stated, the July 4th parade saw the most entries in the event’s history as well.
He went on to say it was estimated this year’s Family Fun Day at Wythogan Park had between 3,000 and 3,500 people attend.
