The Pulaski County Council discussed scheduling budget workshops during their meeting Monday.
The council plans to meet with office holders and department heads for a budget planning workshop in August before full negotiations start this fall. Pulaski County Council Vice-President Mike Tiede announced, the workshop is planned for Monday, August 12 and Tuesday, August 13 at 9 a.m. ET in the Pulaski County Highway Garage at 1131 N. U.S. 35 in Winamac.
Tiede then stated a public hearing on the budget is scheduled during the council’s regularly scheduled meeting on September 9th with the budget adoption being up for approval during their October 14th meeting.
