City of Knox Hires New Attorney

The City of Knox has a new attorney.

City of Knox Mayor Dennis Estok informed WKVI News former City Attorney Autumn Ferch resigned on May 16. It was noted the Mayor is who fills that position and Estok stated the decision was made to hire Justin Schramm as the new city attorney. He added Schramm is currently the planning commission attorney and has worked well with the city of Knox in the past.

Estok said Schramm’s first day was June 3 and that he has been handling city attorney duties since that time. In a follow up, Schramm provided this statement to WKVI News, “The City of Knox has a lot of exciting things going on right now, due to the efforts of its local residents and officials. I am just grateful that I get to be a part of that development, and appreciate the trust the people of Knox have placed in me to keep the City moving in the right direction. I love everything about small town living. There’s no place I’d rather be than right in the heart of rural Indiana.”
