The Pulaski County Commissioners discussed tire price increases for the Recycling and Transfer Station during their meeting Monday.
Pulaski County Recycling and Transfer Station Manager John Kegarise announced he would like to increase prices on recycled tires received. He said currently car tires are $4.00 to recycle, semi tires are $8.00 and agricultural tire prices are at his discretion. He went on to say he would like to increase the price of recycling car tires to $5.00 and semi tires to $10.00.
Pulaski County Commissioner Maurice Loehmer asked if Kegarise could send the proposal to the commissioners to review and make a decision at a future meeting. Kegarise said he would get the proposals to them and the commissioners tabled the discussion.
