The Pulaski County Commissioners discussed appointing someone to the Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) during their meeting last week.
It was announced, the SWCD board recommended Michelle Fox to be appointed as the new District Support Coordinator. Commission President Chuck Mellon stated, Fox had formally accepted the position and would just need final approval by the commissioners to appoint her. Commissioner Maurice Loehmer made the motion to appoint Michelle Fox as the new SWCD District Support Coordinator. That motion was seconded and passed unanimously by vote.
From the Pulaski County website, the mission of the SWCD is to conserve, improve, and sustain the appropriate use of natural resources.
