The Knox City Council discussed an available part-time position they are hoping to fill during their meeting Tuesday.
City of Knox Mayor Dennis Estok announced they are looking for a new school crossing guard. He stated the previous crossing guard had passed away and the police department has been standing guard before and after school while the city looks for someone to take the position. It was noted the part-time position pays just over 33 dollars per day.
