The Knox City Council discussed adopting the 2025 budget during their meeting Tuesday.
According to the notice on the Indiana Gateway website, the total budget estimate is $4,655,169 with just over $2.7 million in the General Fund, $50,000 in Local Road and Street, $478,000 in the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund, $181,000 in the Park and Recreation Fund, and other special funds as well.
The council held a public hearing on the proposed 2025 budget during their previous meeting with no comment made. During Tuesday’s meeting a motion was made to adopt the 2025 budget. That motion was seconded and passed unanimously by vote.
