The Pulaski County Commissioners discussed purchasing a new HVAC unit for the Circuit Court Judge’s office during their meeting Monday.
Pulaski County Maintenance Director Larry Weaver announced Circuit Court Judge Mary Welker’s office is in need of a new HVAC unit. He stated the current unit is 15 years old. Weaver said the total cost for the unit would be $33,000 and that he is only needing the commissioners to approve $16,500 to get it ordered. Weaver noted, the maintenance department has that amount available and that he is only needing their approval to move forward with the order.
A motion was made to approve the $16,500 for the new HVAC unit to be ordered. That motion was seconded and passed unanimously by vote. It was noted the funds would come from the Maintenance Department’s budget.
