The Starke County Council discussed adopting the 2025 proposed budget during their meeting Monday.
Starke County’s total budget of all funds is listed on Indiana Gateway’s website of budget notices for local government. The total amount listed for Starke County is $15,045,255 with the County General Fund at $8,871,220. The Starke County Solid Waste District budget was presented at $299,267. The council voted unanimously approving the submitted budgets.
During Monday’s meeting, Vice President Todd Leinbach made a motion to adopt the previously approved budgets. That motion was seconded by council member Cassandra Hine. The proposed 2025 budget was adopted unanimously by vote.
