The Culver Town Council members will meet tonight where the council members will reorganize and make appointments to start the new year.
The council members will also consider a resolution that would transfer funds within departments and an ordinance that pertains to encumbered funds.
Regular reports will be given by department heads and board and commission members as necessary.
Town Manager Kevin Danti, Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim, and Town Attorney Sean Surrisi will also have regular reports for the council.
The Culver Town Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. ET tonight at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street in Culver.
Additionally, Heim announced this week that South Main Street/West Shore Drive in Culver will be closed between Wabash and South Street beginning Monday, Jan. 13 for road work. It should be open again at the end of the week. Drivers are asked to use Wabash and South Street as the detour.
