The donated land, located at State Road 23, will be transformed into a fully accessible kayak launch, offering a safe and convenient entry point for paddlers of all skill levels. This project aligns with the Starke County Park Department’s mission to expand recreational opportunities and preserve the natural beauty of the area.
Dr. and Mrs. Fritz expressed their enthusiasm for the project, stating, “There is much beauty in Starke county to be seen from the Yellow River.” He also shared that this donation was a way for him to give back to the community and his patients whose funding and support enabled him to purchase this land in the first place.
