The Food Bank of Northern Indiana has announced a correction to a location that was provided for an upcoming Mobile Food Distribution.
The distribution scheduled for this Thursday, November 20th in San Pierre will take place at the San Pierre Fire Station, which is located at 102 Fisher Street.
The distribution will be from 10am to Noon Central Time, while supplies last. This is not a Turkeys on the Table distribution, but a regular mobile food distribution which will include produce and dry goods. This event is being sponsored by the United Way of Northwest Indiana and is prepared to serve 200 households.
Food items from these mobile events are already pre-boxed and pre-bagged, and operate on a first come, first served basis. This is a drive-through distribution, so please remain in your vehicle and open your trunk to receive food. There will be an area available for self-loading if your trunk does not open.
