According to a press release from the Indiana High School Athletic Association, or IHSAA, they have filled their Board of Directors; and one of the positions has gone to North Judson – San Pierre’s Athletic Director, Mike Sharkozy.
The release states that the members of the Board, who also serve on the Executive Committee, meet annually on Monday of Week 44 of the IHSAA calendar, or May 4th, 2026, to consider and vote on any changes to the Member School By-Laws that are proposed by any member schools or the Commissioner.
These by-laws provide the governing framework for IHSAA.
The Board of Directors consists of 19 elected officials who represent member schools in all three districts of the state of Indiana.
North Judson – San Pierre Junior Senior High School shared their congratulations to Sharkozy, stating that his election to the board is a tremendous honor and a testament to his continued commitment to serving student-athletes across Indiana at an even higher level.
The three-year governing term will begin July 1st, 2026.
