Earlier this week, on Monday, December 15th, the Pulaski County Board of Commissioners approved the re-opening of Pulaski County Community Development’s Revolving Loan Fund.
The Revolving Loan Fund will be re-opened beginning January 1st, 2026, after being on hiatus for years.
A Revolving Loan Fund works with the initial money being loaned out, and as it is repayed by the borrowers, the funds get recycled back into the pool to be loaned out again. Using the funds this way allows them to be used continually, and to support multiple borrowers over a long period of time.
According to the announcement from Pulaski County Community Development, there is currently nearly $300,000 available in the fund for local entrepreneurs.
