The Starke County Republican Party held a caucus Tuesday, December 30th to select a new Recorder to fulfill the remaining term that will end December 31st 2026.
An announcement made by the party Tuesday evening thanked both candidates, Jennifer Madsen and Lauri Venckus, for participating in the process.
The announcement states that the caucus chose Jennifer Madsen to be the new Starke County Recorder for the remainder of the current term, and the Starke County Republican Party shared their congratulations to Madsen on her successful candidacy.
The announcement finishes by thanking the Precinct Committee members in attendance of the caucus, stating that all 21 committee members were in attendance.
