STARKE COUNTY – The Starke County Auditor has announced open board positions for 2026. They noted that current board members whose terms end at the end of this year will also need to submit for reappointment.
Some positions require council appointment, some require commissioner appointments, and some require both; the auditor notes that applications and resubmission requests should be submitted to the relevant boards for their consideration before their first-of-the-year meetings, which is when the appointments will be made. Those meetings are scheduled for January 5th, 2026.
