
The Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation has announced a reorganization board meeting of their board of school trustees; followed by a Board of Finance meeting.
These meetings will take place this upcoming Monday, January 12th, and the board meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm Eastern Time at the Meeting Conference Center of Winamac Community High School.
During the reorganization meeting, after their Spotlight on Education, approval of the agenda, and public comment, the board will discuss its reorganization for the calendar year 2026. They will vote on the approval of bond positions and amounts, as well as the establishment of regular meeting dates and times for the upcoming year.
The next item on the agenda is the resolution to pay board members, followed by the appointment of legal counsel, a financial institution, and an advertisement source for the school corporation.
After the presentation of conflict of interest forms, board members will review consent agenda items such as minutes, financial items, and personnel items.
Under the Action and Discussion Items section of the agenda, board members will hear a second reading of a policy update, as well as a resolution authorizing investment of public funds, donations, and any additional board topics.
Board members will hear reports from the principal and superintendent before adjourning the meeting.
Directly following this school board meeting, the Board of Finance will hold a meeting. They will call the meeting to order and elect officers before reviewing district finances and adjourning the meeting.
