Earlier this month the Indiana Sheriff’s Association announced that they will again be awarding college scholarships to qualified high school seniors or college students pursuing a degree in criminal justice studies.
According to the announcement, there will be approximately 40 $1,000 scholarships awarded to qualifying students throughout the state.
In order to qualify for one of these scholarships, the applicant must be an Indiana resident, must be a current member of the Indiana Sheriff’s Association or a dependent child or grandchild of a current member, plan to attend an Indiana college or university, be majoring in a law enforcement field, and be enrolled as a full-time student.
The application for the scholarships can be found at indianasheriffs.org/programs/scholarship-program.
The deadline to apply for this scholarship is April 1st.
