
Knox City Council will be holding a regular meeting tomorrow, Tuesday January 13th.
The meeting will take place at Knox City Hall, located at 101 West Washington Street, and is scheduled to begin at 5pm Central Time.
After calling the meeting to order and making any necessary amendments to the agenda, the council will vote on the approval of the minutes from their December 12th regular meeting and hear comments from citizens.
The next item on the agenda is the election of the 2026 Council President pro tem.
Councilors will then make appointments to the Redevelopment Commission, Plan Commission, and Starke County Solid Waste.
The next items on the agenda are mayoral appointments and the discussion of monthly council meetings.
Councilors will vote on whether or not to ratify the Board of Zoning Appeals’ decision on a billboard hearing.
The next item on the agenda is a discussion in regards to the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority’s crowdgranting program.
Councilors will receive a report from the clerk-treasurer, as well as from the mayor, before going over their own council items.
After the signing of vouchers, the meeting will be adjourned. The public is invited to attend this meeting.
