Knox Community School Corporation will be holding a school board meeting this upcoming Monday, February 2nd.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6pm Central Time and will be held at Knox Community Schools’ Administrative Office.
During the meeting, a middle school Champion Moment will be shared, and the building principals will update the board on activities and events in their respective buildings.
A representative from SitelogIQ will update the board on an upcoming project at Knox Middle School, and the board will receive an update from the Knox Band Boosters.
There will be a section of the meeting for public comments on agenda items before the board moves on to the personnel report. The report includes three resignations, a new hire recommendation, and a maternity leave request.
Under the Business section of the agenda, board members will receive reports from the treasurer, claims, and updates on donations made to the middle school choir and the school’s welding program. The Board will discuss an affidavit for payment as well as the cancellation of outstanding checks that are two years old.
There is a request for an overnight field trip for the welding class, to attend the Skills USA State Conference in Indianapolis, as well as a SitelogIQ letter of recommendation.
After a section of the meeting for public comments on items not on the agenda, as well as any comments and questions from the administrators and board members, the meeting will be adjourned.
