Knox Mayor Dennis Estok announced his appointments for 2026 at the January 13th Council meeting, and they are as follows:
City Attorney – Justin Schramm
Police Chief – Chad Dulin
Deputy Chief (PD) – Pending
Street Department- Jeff Borg
Water Superintendent – Tim Lindewald
Wastewater Superintendent – Jason Clemons
Director of Recreation – Dennis Fornelli
Park Superintendent Nomination – Vacant
Fire Chief – Kenny Pfost
Director of Building and Code Compliance – Lonnie Boley
Planning Administrator Nomination – Lonnie Boley
Starke County Beverage Board – Bill Gustafson
Knox Redevelopment Commission – Marcia Hayes and Mike Estok
Board of Works – Steve Dodge and Jim Collins
Park Board – Nathan Bradley
All appointments are yearly terms, save for the park board position which is a four-year term.
The City notes that there are still open positions on the Redevelopment Commission, the Park Board, and the Plan Commission. Applicants must be Knox residents within city limits.
