The City of La Porte announced yesterday that the regularly scheduled Common Council meeting that was to take place this evening has been canceled.
The announcement came just before 11am yesterday morning, and stated that the meeting was canceled due to a lack of business.
The meeting was originally scheduled to take place this evening, Tuesday, January 20th, at 6pm.
The announcement states that the City of La Porte Common Council will next meet on Monday, February 2nd at 6pm in the Council Chambers; located at 801 Michigan Avenue in La Porte.
The public is invited to attend that meeting.
