The Food Bank of Northern Indiana will be hosting a mobile food distribution event this morning in Rolling Prairie.
The event will take place at the Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church, located at 3444 US Highway 20. The event is from 10am to noon Central Time, while supplies last.
The distribution is sponsored by Citizens Concerned for the Homeless and the Indiana Department of Health, and is equipped to serve up to 150 households. Both perishable and dry goods will be offered at the distribution, free of charge. All items are pre-boxed or bagged and are on a first come, first served basis, with a limit of one box per household.
As this is a drive-through distribution, recipients should remain in their vehicle and pop their trunk to receive grocery items.
