Multiple Starke County Scholarships accepting applications from high school seniors

North Judson- San Pierre Junior Senior High School recently shared some scholarship opportunities that are accepting applications from area high school seniors.

The first scholarships mentioned by the post are the Starke County Community Foundation Scholarships, with applications available on the Northern Indiana Community Foundation website at nicf.org. There are multiple scholarships available through Starke County Community Foundation, and only one common application is required to apply for all scholarships. The NICF website states that applicants are automatically matched with the opportunities they qualify for. The deadline for submission for the SCCF scholarships is February 5th.

The Starke County Scholarship Foundation is another opportunity for Starke County high school seniors, and applications can be found at scscholarshipfoundation.org. Seniors at Knox, North Judson-San Pierre, Oregon-Davis, and Culver are eligible to apply for the scholarships, and the Guidance Department of those schools are available to help with the application for this scholarship.

The final scholarship opportunity mentioned by the post is for Kankakee Valley REMC members; and mentions both Operation Round Up and a new trades scholarship available this year. Applications for these scholarships can be found at kvremc.com. In 2026, Operation Round Up is offering two $1500 Trades Scholarships, as well as two $2,000 scholarships and 4 $1,000 scholarships to be awarded to high school seniors whose parents or guardians are Kankakee Valley REMC member-consumers, and participate in Operation Round Up on or before February 2nd.
