The Oregon-Davis School Board will be holding a regular meeting this evening, January 21st, at 6pm Central Time.
The meeting will be held at Oregon-Davis Elementary School in Hamlet, in Room 125; and can also be streamed online via Zoom.
The Board will vote on the approval of minutes from their January 7th meeting, as well as financial reports and payroll.
They will hear a request for three employees to attend a textbook caravan organized by the Northern Indiana Educational Service Center, as well as three requests for upcoming field trips: A trip to tour a potential venue for Junior/Senior Prom, a trip to Valparaiso University for the Yearbook Committee, and a multi-stop historic field trip in Terre Haute and Vincennes.
School Board members will discuss Cheerleading Camp, and they will receive personnel recommendations for multiple coaching positions, including for junior high baseball, flag football, and 5th grade girls basketball.
The board will vote on the approval of the 2026-2027 school calendar, and will hear a presentation from Ethos Science.
The Superintendent and Principal will provide reports, and there will be a section of the meeting for any board member comments, before the meeting is adjourned.
