
The Starke County Commissioners will hold a regular meeting this upcoming Tuesday, January 20th, at 8:30am Central Time.
While the Starke County Commissioners typically hold their meetings on Mondays, due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day the meeting has been moved to Tuesday.
Commissioners will hear from EMS regarding a Mobile Integrated Health program. They will review a contract with a representative from Economic Development, and will discuss multiple topics with the Highway Department. Commissioners will hear from local business owners in regards to multiple canceled BZA meetings, and discuss the approval of the sale of Tax Sale Certificates on severely delinquent properties.
Commissioners will review Vendor and Payroll claims, as well as the minutes from their January 5th meeting. They will sign the Kankakee-Iroquois Regional Planning Commission appointment sheet, and reorganize other boards, including any appointments to be made.
The Commissioners will review applications for Veterans’ Service Officer, and discuss any other business that may come before them, before the meeting is adjourned.
