Starke County Coroner’s Office shares 2025 statistics

The Starke County Coroner’s Office recently shared their final statistics from 2025.

The Coroner’s office shared that they attended to a total of 63 calls throughout 2025.

46 of those 63 deaths were ruled as natural causes.

The next highest cause of death reported across the county in 2025 was motor vehicle accidents, responsible for 7 deaths.

‘Accidents and Other’ made up 5 of this year’s calls for the Coroner. There were 2 drug overdoses, 2 undetermined causes of death, and one suicide.

No homicides were reported by the Coroner’s office in 2025.
