3rd – 6th grade coloring page. Shared by Starke County Surveyor’s Office

The Starke County America 250 Committee and the Starke County Surveyor’s office are sponsoring a coloring contest during the month of February as part of the America 250 celebrations taking place throughout the year.

The contest began yesterday, February 1st, with a submission deadline of February 27th by 4pm Central Time.

The contest is open to children who live in or attend school in Starke County, with three separate categories: Preschool through 2nd grade, 3rd grade through 6th grade, and 7th grade through 12th grade.

The contest has official America 250 coloring pages that are provided by the Surveyor’s Office, which is located at 53 East Mound Street in Knox. Completed entries should also be dropped off at the Surveyor’s Office, or scanned and e-mailed as a PDF or image file to surveyor@starke.in.gov.

Each entry must include information on the back of the coloring sheet: The child’s name, which grade group they fall into, the parent or guardian’s name, and a contact number or e-mail address. Only one entry per child will be accepted.

Entries will be judged on creativity, effort, and overall presentation, with winners to be selected from each age group.

The coloring pages can be found online at the Starke County Surveyor’s Office’s Facebook page.
