
STATEWIDE — If you like being outside and want a different kind of job, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources is hiring Conservation Officers across the state.
You can find the details online and start by taking the pre-screening test under the “Apply” tab.
You have to be a U.S. citizen and at least 21 years old by October 30.
You’ll also need to pass the Physical Agility Test, which is now required for all state law enforcement officers.
The job isn’t just about checking fishing and hunting licenses. Conservation Officers patrol lakes, rivers, and state properties.
There are also specialty roles in scuba, K-9, and search and rescue.
