The Knox City Council will be holding a regular meeting tomorrow, February 10th, at Knox City Hall, 101 West Washington Street in Knox.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5pm Central Time.
During the council meeting, councilors will set aside a space for citizen’s comments before discussing Ordinance 2026-OR1, which is in regards to re-visiting dates for holding regular council meetings. This will be the second reading of the ordinance with a vote for possible adoption.
Under the new ordinance, the Council would meet only on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 5pm Central Time, rather than on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month. The first reading of the ordinance passed unanimously.
Following the 2nd reading of the ordinance, councilors will hear relevant reports from the Clerk-Treasurer and the Mayor. They will discuss any additional council items that come up, as well as sign vouchers, before the meeting is adjourned.
The public is invited to attend this meeting.
