Knox Parks and Recreation held meeting February 25

The Knox Parks and Recreation board held its monthly board meeting yesterday, February 25th. The board also shared meeting minutes from its January 26th meeting.

In January, the board received a quote from Mayor Estok for lights on the basketball and pickleball courts, with an updated quote to be sought after before a final decision is made.

During the January meeting a vote was held for Park Board officers, with Gary Dulin remaining as Board President, Nathan Bradley remaining as Vice President, and Lucy Rizzo remaining as Secretary.

The agenda for last night’s meeting included discussion on the approval of plans for the Skate Park, and voting on the approval of the concession stand rental person.

Other topics scheduled to be discussed at last night’s meeting included the review of applications for open positions, discussion on park clean-up and the approval of a Memorandum of Understanding for baseball.

The next Park Board meeting is scheduled to take place Monday, March 23rd.
