The Food Bank of Northern Indiana will be holding a free mobile food distribution in La Porte tomorrow, Wednesday February 18th.
The mobile food distribution will take place at the La Porte County Fairgrounds, at 2581 Indiana Highway 2 in La Porte, from 10am to noon Central Time, or as long as supplies last.
There will be both perishable and dry goods offered, free of charge. All items are pre-boxed or pre-bagged, and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
This event will have enough supplies to serve up to 300 households, with a limit of one box per household. Because this is a drive-through event, recipients should stay in their vehicle and open their trunks to receive grocery items.
