
Oregon-Davis School Corporation will be holding a regular school board meeting this upcoming Wednesday, February 18th.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6pm Central Time at the Oregon-Davis Elementary School, at 5860 North 750 East in Hamlet. The meeting will also be streamed live online.
The meeting will open with the call to order, pledge of allegiance, roll call, and a space for public comment.
Under the Consent Agenda portion of the agenda, the board will vote on the approval of minutes from its January 21st meeting, as well as the approval of several financial reports.
The board will discuss requests for a professional development conference, as well as requests for 4 upcoming field trips and a facility use request for Starke County Youth Club’s spring break program.
The board will receive requests for several fundraisers, including strawberry sales, a tat-a-teacher event to help raise funds for this year’s Prom, and the High School Spring Play to help fund future drama club productions, among others.
Under Discussion and Action items, the board will receive recommendations to approve the 2024-2025 Teacher Appreciation Grant stipends, administrator contracts, conflict of interest statements, and the mileage rate for 2026.
The board will receive reports from both the Superintendent and Principal, and have a space for board comments, before adjourning the meeting.
