On Friday, February 6th, the Michigan City Police Department reported that officers from their Uniform Patrol Shift 2 responded to a shooting that took place at approximately 3:17pm in the 400 block of Chicago Street.
The Police Department reported that the shooting resulted in one person being injured.
The announcement stated that the incident is under active investigation and that there was no known threat to the public’s safety at the time of the announcement.
