The Starke County Plan Commission released an announcement yesterday that it will be holding a Public Hearing and meeting next Wednesday, February 25th.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm Central Time and will take place at the Starke County Annex 1 Building in Meeting Room 1, located at 53 East Mound Street in Knox.
After the opening items on the agenda such as roll call and minute approvals, the public hearing will begin.
The public hearing at this meeting is in regards to the Planning and Building Department’s administrative structure and staffing. The Plan Commission will hear the public’s input on and discuss a proposed amendment related to the job titles and descriptions of the Planning and Building Department.
After the public hearing is closed, the Plan Commission will review and discuss propsed draft language for an ordinance relating to Commercial Solar Energy Systems (CSES).
After a space for public comment and comments from Plan Commisison members, the meeting will be adjourned.
All interested persons will have the opportunity to be heard at the public hearing. Written statements may be submitted prior to the hearing and will be included in the official record.
