Starke County Soil & Water Conservation District to hold annual meeting in March

The Starke County Soil and Water Conservation District will be holding its 63rd annual meeting on March 10th.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm Central Time in Ballroom A of the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center, which is located at 55 East Lake street in Knox.

During the meeting, participants will hear from community members, local businesses, local elected officials, and conservation partners in regards to the accomplishments of the Soil and Water Conservation District over the previous year.

The meeting will recognize the winners of the District’s Youth Poster Contest as well as its Essay Contest. Local FFA chapters and 2025 River Friendly Farmers will also be honored.

The meeting will be catered by Darlene’s Taste of Texas.
