Tomorrow, February 6th, marks the final day that interested candidates can register to run in this year’s Primary Election. Candidates can register until noon local time tomorrow.
Those intending to vote in the Primary election need to ensure they are registered to vote by April 6th; which is when voter registration closes for the Primary election. Early voting begins the following day, on April 6th.
Primary Election Day is May 5th this year.
Just a few weeks later, voter registration will re-open, for the General Election. That voter registration closes on October 5th, with early voting again beginning the following day, on October 6th.
General Election Day this year is November 3rd, with polls being open for voters from 6am to 6pm local time.
