The Town of North Judson has announced a full-time opening in the Utilities Department.
The position requires a valid CDL Class B with Air Brakes, or the willingness and ability to receive one within the first year of employment. Applicants also need to be able to lift up to 80 pounds, follow detailed instructions, and should have a high school diploma or equivalent with the ability to read at a high school level.
The position requires work in adverse weather conditions at times, as well as on some weekends and evenings. Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
The city states that the position comes with the possibility of extra hours and overtime, and that experience operating heavy equipment and basic tools are a plus.

Starting pay for the position is listed between $18.50 and $21.50 per hour.
