Oregon-Davis announces details of Kindergarten and Preschool Round-Ups

The Oregon-Davis School Corporation has announced the dates and details for its Kindergarten and Pre-K Round-Ups.

Kindergarten Round-up for Oregon-Davis will take place April 16th at 5pm Central Time, in the Elementary school’s cafeteria.

To be eligible for kindergarten, students must be 5 years old on or before October 1st of this year.

Parents should bring their child’s birth certificate, social security card, and immunization records, as well as proof of residency for the parent/guardian.

The Kindergarten round-up will feature a short presentation in the cafeteria with an activity in a classroom, followed by a free bus ride around the campus.

There are two dates for Oregon-Davis’ preschool roundup: April 16th from 7:30am to 5pm, and April 21st from 7:30am to 3pm. This round-up requests a phone call to the school to sign up for a time.

To be eligible for preschool, students must be 4 years of age on or before October 1st.

Parents or guardians should bring residency documentation dated within the past 60 days, that includes their name, street address, and city or zip code, photo ID for both applicants, and a pay stub or proof of employment income, or documentation that you are attending school or training, job searching, and have other income sources.

Birth certificates for all children in the household are also required if the child does not attend Oregon Davis already. Any household children who attend Oregon Davis will already have a birth certificate on file and an additional copy is not required.

Those who are interested but unable to attend the Preschool or Kindergarten Round-ups are encouraged to reach out to the school to set up an alternate time, at 574-867-2711, or by e-mail at hquinn@od.k12.in.us.
