Applications for Century and Half Century Business Awards are open

Indiana Governor Mike Braun has announced that the state of Indiana is accepting nominations for its Governor’s 2026 Century and Half Century Business Awards.

The program honors Indiana businesses that have been in operation for at least 50 or 100 years, continuously, and that have shown a long-standing commitment to their communities.

Eligible businesses must have operated in Indiana for 50 or 100 years by the end of 2025, have maintained the same general line of work, and remained based in the state since their founding. Companies must also be in good standing with the Indiana Secretary of State and cannot have previously received the award; though past Half Century winners may still qualify for a Century Award.

Selected businesses will be recognized later this year during a ceremony at the Indiana Statehouse.

The deadline to apply is May 30th.

More information and nomination forms are available through the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.
