The Oregon-Davis School Board is weighing school calendar options for the 2017-18 academic year. Superintendent Dr. Don Harman has suggested they consider starting classes a week later to accommodate 4-H participants. He’s also proposed a shorter fall break, as that’s when sophomores take the PSAT. Stolen Tractor Recovered, Walkerton Man Arrested for Drunk Driving
A report of a stolen tractor resulted in the Sunday morning arrest of a Walkerton man on drunk driving charges. A resident in the 20,000 block of 8th Road called 911 in Marshall County around 8:15 a.m. to report a tractor with a sprayer attached had just been stolen.
