The Knox City Council has a light agenda for their meeting this evening. There are no specific action items listed on the advance copy. The council discussed amendments to the city’s zoning ordinance two weeks ago to allow tattoo parlors downtown, but did not take action. The Starke County Council last week approved an additional appropriation for a program that helps children throughout the community. Rhonda Adcock is the director of Starke County CASA. The acronym stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate. Adcock says it’s an arm of Starke Circuit Court, with volunteers who advocate for children who are in family court due to abuse or neglect. That’s one of the items on the agenda for the 6 p.m. meeting at the administration building.
