West Central School Board Awaits State for High Ability Grants

West Central School CorporationThe West Central School Board has decided to table further consideration of an Indiana Department of Education grant.

IDOE’s High Ability grants are distributed every year to the state’s school corporations. West Central has, in the past, used the monies for things like calculators or other classroom materials to help “high ability” students with the learning process.

North Judson Council Meeting Moved to High School Auditorium for Transfer Station Discussion

 
 

North Judson residents will have the chance to learn more about a planned recycling transfer station during tonight’s North Judson Town Council meeting. It’s been moved to the North Judson–San Pierre Junior/Senior High School Auditorium to handle the many residents expected to be in attendance. Officials from Metro Recycling as well as the Starke County Economic Development Foundation are scheduled to discuss the new transfer station and address residents’ concerns. Continue reading

Starke County Community Foundation Honors Tri Kappa’s Generosity
