Pulaski County Updates on Community Crossings Application
Pulaski County continues to ready its application as part of the Indiana Community Crossings Grant Program.
During Tuesday night’s meeting, the County Commissioners shared their completed financial commitment letter with the public. The document was approved at their previous meeting to include as part of the application.

WoodStarke Planning Continues
Plans are moving ahead for the third annual WoodStarke festival. Visitors to this September’s event in Wythogan Park in Knox can expect to see several musical acts and various types of artwork, including woodcarving, photography, and painting. FEMA Seeks Regional Youth Preparedness Council Candidates
FEMA has extended the deadline for applications from prospective Youth Preparedness Council members to July 15th.
The agency is seeking current students in grades 8-11 who want to become a regional advocate for youth disaster preparedness. The FEMA Region V Youth Preparedness Council offers youth leaders a unique opportunity to make a difference in their communities while sharing their opinions, experiences, ideas, solutions and questions on youth disaster preparedness with the regional leadership of FEMA. There are a lot of first wedding anniversaries being celebrated by couples who raced to the altar after the Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage across the nation last year. Former Freedom to Marry President Evan Wolfson says many of those couples thought they’d never be able to make their union legal. A Knox-based business has plenty of room to grow. Traffic Control Specialists, Inc. officials cut the ribbon for their new, state-of-the-art headquarters in the Knox Industrial Park yesterday. The company specializes in work zone safety and is the leading provider of signs and service throughout northern Indiana.
