Carlotta (Estok) Whitcraft, 76 of Knox, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 29, 2020
Carlotta was born to Leonard and Evelyn Estok on December 29, 1943 in Knox, Indiana and lived there most of her life.
She was married to James Whitcraft Sr. in March of 1961. They had two sons Jim (Tammy) Whitcraft and Ray (Lisa) Whitcraft. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren Shawn (Linley) Whitcraft, Ashley Whitcraft, Chelsea Whitcraft, and Emma Whitcraft and 2 great granddaughters Sydney & Leah Whitcraft.
Carlotta is also survived by siblings Judy Lenig, Percilla (Larry)Upp, Bobbie (Freddie) Baker, Mike Estok, Dennis(Lora) Estok, Chuck (Janice) Estok.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 sisters Beverly Dumas, Veronica Bernero, Stella Biddle.
At the age of 43, she went back to Knox High School to finish her diploma and officially become a high school graduate. Throughout her life she worked in many different settings. She was a hair dresser, the manager of Pizza King in Knox, and worked at MPI. Carlotta was a proud member of the Calvary Baptist Church for several years. Some of her favorite things were working with out in the flower bed, watching Norte Dame football and all things Elvis. She loved spending time with her family and especially seeing her great granddaughters play.
Funeral service is Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11am (CT), with visitation one hour prior to services at the Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. M.C. Smith is in charge of arrangements.
