Chester E. “C.E.” Roller, of Greenwood, formerly of North Judson, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at this residence in Greenwood.
He was born on July 5, 1938, in Logansport to Virgil and Irene (Bailey) Roller. He married Sandra L. Minix on October 25, 1960, in North Judson, she survives.
He had been a track inspector for the Pennsylvania Central, New York Central and Conrail Railroads for over 30 years, retiring in 1989. He enjoyed watching T.V.
Survivors include his wife Sandra L. (Minix) Roller of Greenwood; a son Martin G. Roller (Karen L.) of New Whiteland; two grandsons Jacob Roller (Amy) of Franklin and Joe Thomas (Amy) of DeMotte; four great-grandchildren Wyatt and Colton Roller and Ray and Sam Thomas; a brother Richard Roller (Shannon) of Logansport and a sister Sandra Orr of Logansport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a half-brother Walter Yokum and a brother-in-law Dwight Orr.
