Donald Gene Harradon-Fisher, age 62 of Knox, passed away at his home on November 9, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.
He was born December 22, 1962 in Knox, Indiana to the late Marjorie Fisher and the late Jerry Lynn Harradon. On June 26, 1982 Donald married Kathy Sue Hicks, they were married 43 years and had three beautiful daughters and one handsome son.
Donny loved being with his grandchildren and children, he also loved fishing, guitars, listening to music, old muscle cars and his antiques. His favorite colors were blue and purple. Donny had a big heart and would to anything to help anyone. He loved his social time at the VFW and the American Legion, having Jim Beam shooters and flirting with the ladies. He was an active member of the Sons of the American Legion.
Preceding him in death are his mother, Marjorie Fisher, father, Jerry Lynn Harradon, a grandson, William Jones III, a brother, Jody Harradon, step-mother, Judith Harradon and a sister-in-law, Melissa Bird.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Harradon, three daughters, Shantel Sturgeon, CaSandra Dickman (Walter), and Alisha Jones (Billy), and a son, Franklin Harradon (Kristin), three sisters, Darlene Gibson (Doug), Carrie Murphy (Steve) and Michelle Harradon-Norton (Lovina), a sister-in-law, Valerie Hicks and two brother-in-laws, James Hicks and Ryan Champmen, and 15 grandchildren, Christopher, Taylor, Isaiah, Whysper, Jacob, Justice, Carter, Kaylyn, Harmony, Harlynd, William, Faith and Ersie (but was known as “Papaw” to many)
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 3pm (CT) with visitation three hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. I dinner will follow at the VFW Post 748 in Knox. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
